November Gun show Book Signing event

FORT WORTH, Texas - Sept. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Andrew Curtiss is a local author with three published titles. A US Army Combat Veteran and former "Green Beret" Special Forces Soldier nominated to receive the Silver Star and having received the Bronze Star with V device, he has gained some notoriety in the world of hand to hand and edged weapon combat for his first book Combat Application Techniques, published in 2008. In 2010 he published his second book an American Constitutionalist Libertarian Op ed piece titled 1984 Redux "Say Hello to Big Brother". He published his third peice  in 2011 available on Amazon Kindle only; titled "Economic Collapse".

Curtiss a Professional athlete and Mixed Martial Arts Cage Fighter by hobby; makes his formal living as a tactical consultant and firearms instructor for the US government and Law Enforcement Agencies across the US. Curtiss and his wife Dora will be hosting a booth at the November 2nd and 3rd Fort Worth Gunshow at The Will Rogers Memorial Center. They will be presenting a new cutting edge firearms simulation training system that allows shooters to use their own firearm and personal computer in order to safely practice the fundamentals of marksmanship with real time feedback and without the use of live ammunition.

Mr. Curtiss will personally be demonstrating the system both days; as well as signing copies of his books and Defensive Tactics DVDs for sale on site. The Curtiss' are excited to be making a product available to the public that allows shooters to safely practice safe weapons handling and marksmanship fundamentals. When asked about the product Curtiss stated,"Im excited to be a part of this cutting edge technology that allows even the most novice shooter to work on their safe firearms handling skills free of risk; and that allows those doing dry fire training to get real time feed back."

Curtiss goes on, "In the wake of the elementary school shooting in Connecticut firearms safety has come to the forefront of American culture. Ammunition prices have also increased as well as ammunition scarcity. Our product allows one to train as much as they want  for an extremely low price and is completely safe. This system is a victory for those who support the second amendment." Curtiss was introduced to the product from a company named LazerRange. His wife had stumbled on to the company's booth  in early 2013 at a Fort Worth Gun Show.

Months later the Curtiss' found themselves as dealers for the product in the Fort Worth area. Curtiss a firearms instructor and former Special Forces Weapons Specialist claims that the system can save shooters hundreds to thousands of dollars each year on the costs of ammunition saved alone. The Curtiss' are planning on attending several gunshows in the North Texas area sharing their knowledge about this new technology with shooters across the state. Mr. Curtiss will also be taking the opportunity to meet with the public and those who have read his books, follow him on social media or who have followed his fight career.

They will be soon adding a shopping cart option and full online hand to hand combat certification courses to the website.
