INTERNATIONAL BLOCKBUSTER, FAME, IS NEXT QUEST FOR YOUTH-RUN THEATER COMPANY; SHOW DETAILS FORMALLY ANNOUNCED
Poughkeepsie, New York….Youth-
On the heels of a successful pilot production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”, also performed at Cunneen-Hackett just months ago, NextQuest is poised to draw even larger audiences to “FAME”. The cast, primarily comprised of teenagers, hail from several different communities and have expertise in a number of varied genres of creative art forms.
“What is so amazing about this show is that the students who came from all over the region to audition represented the same vast range of talents, personalities, and backgrounds as the youth who make up the group of performing arts students in the story of FAME. We have an incredible cast who come from all over the mid-Hudson Valley, and are incredibly diverse; all of them, though, have tremendous talent, and that is exactly what we needed with this show – the right corps of people who could take on the high-level chorography required to make it a success”, stated Matt Hagerty of Rhinebeck, who, along with three other school-age trustees, founded NextQuest Productions and serves as its President.
“It is a much more complicated show than our first, but it’s an exciting challenge. We all love what we do, and the response to the auditions alone was incredible. It is such a popular show, and the music is really fantastic; we are really excited to bring it to the Hudson Valley”, said Hagerty.
Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased by emailing email@example.com, calling 845.418.9751, or visiting nextquestproductions.org. The show is directed by Thomas Nettter, with Matt Hagerty serving as Executive Producer, Thomas Hricisak as Producer, and Matt Harshberger as Associate Producer. The cast includes Niki Metcalf as Serena Katz, Matt Hagerty as Nick Piazza, and Thomas Hricisak as Joe Vegas, among others.
