After the initial hearing, the judge issued an award that dismissed the claim of the Transit Authority employee. The employee claimed that he was not provided proper notice of the hearing or the right to cross-examine the witnsses offered by the Transit Authority.
Subsequent to the decision, Imbesi Christensen filed an appeal on behalf of the employee, requesting the initial decision be overruled. The Honorable Geraldine A. Reilly, on behalf of the Appeal Board, overruled the hearing judge's decision and granted the employee's application to reopen the claim.
