Ms. Corporate America Honors Breast Cancer Awareness and Education

Kimi Holloway, Reigning Ms. Corporate America, to promote breast cancer awareness and education during October for national breast cancer awareness month after losing her mother to the disease as a child

WASHINGTON - Sept. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Reigning Ms. Corporate America Kimi Holloway will honor National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2013 through a series of appearances aimed at educating women about the disease and promoting early detection. As a contestant, Holloway’s platform was breast cancer as her mother lost her battle to the disease. Now in its 7th year, the Ms./Mrs. Corporate America pageant recognizes the professional achievements and community service initiatives of career women throughout America and provides an outlet for women to promote a personal platform, enhance self-confidence, strengthen leadership skills, accomplish personal and professional goals and establish friendships with other professional women.

“My mother lost her battle with breast cancer when I was 13 years old,” says Holloway. “She was my role model and continues to be because she lived a very admirable life right up until the end and encouraged me to pursue my dreams and aim for new heights. My platform stems out of a genuine concern to prevent deaths from breast cancer through early detection education.”

Holloway attended the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada where she received a Bachelor’s of Applied Arts in Media Studies. She also holds a post graduate diploma in Public Relations from Humber College in Toronto, Ontario and is currently a sales manager with Entertainment Cruises in Washington, D.C. Holloway is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
