Follow on Google News | WIFL and Recording Artists "Drenalin" Join ForcesThe Women’s Indoor Football League has announced a new partnership with the rock band Drenalin. The band will become the official music partner of the WIFL.
By: www.wiflfootball.com With a home base out of Ohio, Drenalin has been sharing their musical talents throughout the Midwest for several years now and they are very excited about all the opportunities that lie ahead with this new partnership. Founding member and guitarist Dan Gutter said “We’re all very excited about this and we are 100% on board with the WIFL. We are looking forward to working with the league and see where it takes us.” A source within the WIFL said the band will create a theme song for the league as well as several other ventures to maximize exposure for both parties. “Not only are these guys a top musical talent but they are a great group of guys as well and they have a lot of great ideas for the future. We have had some great discussions with them and fans of both of ours can look forward to all the great things in the works.” When asked about some of those ideas the source replied “We absolutely plan on having them play several shows at our events, make appearances, a joint merchandise promotion has been discussed and so many other great things. I don’t want to give them all away just yet.” The WIFL’s main media network, 24/7 Sports Hub Radio, also has several things in the works with the band as well. The league, the network, and the band will be working together closely on every aspect of a partnership. The band has several hits that are loved by their following including “The Chosen”, “Beautiful” The league said it plans to have Drenalin perform the halftime show at the WIFL Championship game, to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina. The band will be playing their first show as the official music partner of the WIFL this Friday night September 27th, in Parma, Ohio at the Rock City Tap House and there are several things in store for the show. They are slated to take the stage around 8:30 and not only will there be a WIFL feel to the show, but the band also has another major announcement they are making public that evening. Fans won’t want to miss that. There are still some tickets available but they are going fast. Washington Wildcats quarterback Tia Knipper will be at Friday’s show and will be joining the band on stage to celebrate the new partnership and word is they will have a surprise for all fans in attendance. Drenalin has music, merchandise, tour dates, photos and videos on their Facebook page as well as on their website. The band has done work with other leagues in the past and is anticipating a long partnership with the WIFL. WIFL founder Ray Blanchette said everyone involved with the league is looking forward to working with the band. “Bottom line is music and sports go hand in hand. It has always been that way and it always will be. We have been looking for a good partner for quite some time now and Drenalin is not only a good partner, we think it is going to be a great partnership. Not only is their music top quality but they are genuinely great guys as well. And they have goals they want to reach and we look forward to helping them attain them.
