Follow on Google News | Black Hills Community Bank sponsors 7th-annual Jon Crane Children’s Home Society Benefit AuctionBy: Blush-Marketing That’s why the 7th-annual Jon Crane Children’s Home Society Benefit Auction is so important to the community, according to Jack Lynass, president of Black Hills Community Bank. The Rapid City bank proudly sponsors the event. This year’s event will be held Friday, Oct. 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City. Tickets are $50 per person, which includes hors d’oeuvres and wine. Open seating and reserved seating are available. People can preview samples of this year’s artwork at Black Hills Community Bank before the auction. The mission of the Children’s Home Society is to provide the essence of home – refuge, nourishment, love and limits – to children whose homes have been violated. The Society educates and counsels children; serves families who need help in sustaining the essence of home; and shelters battered women in crisis. “The Creative Arts Program is so important for children at the Home Society because it gives them a positive outlet to deal with emotions and past traumas,” said Lynass. This philanthropic bank in Rapid City is well-known for its community-minded spirit. “We strive to leave a legacy of kindness and goodwill. Our goal is to make a difference by investing in what counts,” said Lynass.
