Construction has begun on the $79.3 Million project and the anticipated date of the grand opening is for the MLB All-Star Game in July of 2014. The construction project includes a spacious park, ample retail space, an on site police station and a Jumbo Screen for not only displaying train schedules but also to broadcast baseball games and other local events. Kirkwood went on to explain that the increase in popularity of the North Loop has resulted in the conversion of many empty buildings into very trendy and sought after loft and warehouse rental properties. As a leader in Minneapolis property management, MPLS Rent manages many of the rental properties available in the artsy North Loop neighborhood and is enjoying the upward momentum of the area.
