Dr. Willie Jolley and Rock Newman Receive AACC Business Leadership Award

WASHINGTON - Sept. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- This event was held in conjunction with the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), 43rd Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) Week.

The Co-Sponsors of the VIP Reception were the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Portland, Oregon; and, the Oregon Convention Center; in partnership with the National Organization of Black County Officials.

Each year, in recognition and appreciation for the successful entrepreneurial efforts, the AACC selects two businesses that embodies this effort to receive their distinguished Business Leadership Award.  This year, the AACC is honored to recognize Dr. Willie Jolley and Rock Newman for their outstanding; successful entrepreneurial.

Last year, the AACC were honored to bring to the VIP Reception, Mary Wilson of the Supremes who performed to a packed house. This year, they presented “the Motown Revue HITZVILLE, the Show.” This was the Las Vegas Cast that has performed been receiving rave reviews. The event was sold out.
