CaniVIZ 3D Preview, the thumbnail generator for the file explorer is now available for Macs and PCs

Sept. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Andéor, SAS announces the immediate availability of CaniVIZ 3D Preview, the thumbnail generator for the CAD files in the Mac Apple Store and the CaniVIZ Store.

The file manager of the operating system, Windows or Mac OS, is able to replace the file icons by a thumbnail images of their contents with external software components called Thumbnail Generator on Windows and QuickLook on Mac.

CaniVIZ 3D Preview replaces the icons of the 3D files by a preview of their contents. As a great feature, CaniVIZ 3D Preview is able to process 3D files formats that do not have a such feature, as ASCII STL.

With CaniVIZ Preview installed in a system, it becomes easy to manage a lot a 3D files in a folder, without dealing with complicated file names.

CaniVIZ 3D Preview is compatible with STL, Wavefront OBJ, 3D Studio 3DS, ASC or PTS scan cloud, AutoCAD® DWG, Step, IGES, CaniVIZ VIZ and Google Sketchup^® on 32 and 64 bits systems.
