Welcoming her appointment, executive director Paul Kamsler said he was delighted Joanne had taken on the newly created role of business development manager.

With more than 20 years experience in sales, marketing and product management, Joanne’s experience ranges from project management roles in the tourism industry to corporate sales management roles including five years with Worldspan, the Global Distribution System for TWA, Northwest and Delta Airlines.
Since arriving in Cairns six years ago, Joanne has worked in the conferencing and events industry, first as the sales and events coordinator with Rydges and most recently as the conference sales manager at the five star Pullman Reef Hotel Casino.
She said she was looking forward to reconnecting with past customers, meeting new ones and introducing the Pacific International Cairns’ beautifully refurbished product to the local market and beyond.
