The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performance Arts will kick off its star-packed and show-filled 2013-2014 season with the annual Public Ticket Sale Day on Saturday, September 28, with the box-office windows opening at 9 a.m. Radio personality Joyce Kaufman from WFTL 850 AM will welcome ticket-buyers between 8 and 10 a.m., and the Kravis Center will be offering breakfast treats and holding special prize drawings.



“Our upcoming season will be particularly exciting,” said Judith Mitchell, Chief Executive Officer of the Kravis Center. “With such a well-rounded roster of performances, the Kravis Center once again provides something for everyone and this season reflects our commitment to offer programming that is as diverse as the community we serve.”



Just consider this incredible lineup of superstars scheduled to perform at the Kravis Center from October through May: Gregg Allman, Joshua Bell, Michael Bolton, Chris Botti, The Noël Coward Festival, Michael Feinstein, Savion Glover, Merle Haggard, Indigo Girls, Chris Isaak, Jay Leno, Kenny Loggins, Jackie Mason, Johnny Mathis, Audra McDonald, Mandy Patinkin, Itzhak Perlman, Bernadette Peters, Pink Martini, Joan Rivers, Neil Sedaka, Lily Tomlin and Pinchas Zukerman.



“In addition, our blockbuster lineup will offer an amazing array of Broadway fare, along with plenty of delights for those who love comedy, dance, classical music and jazz,” said Lee Bell, Senior Director of Programming at the Kravis Center.


Of the six Kravis On Broadway shows scheduled for the 2013-2014 season, tickets for the RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR STARRING THE ROCKETTES (November 29-December 8) are now on sale and tickets for THE GERSHWINS’ PORGY AND BESS (January 7-12) will be available for purchase by the public on September 28. Subscriptions for this season’s entire Kravis On Broadway series are still available starting at $174.



In addition to performances in the 2,195-seat Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. Concert Hall, the Kravis Center will present a diverse array of drama, music and dance, including Family Fare and P.E.A.K. – Provocative Entertainment at Kravis, in the intimate 300-seat Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Playhouse, the flexible 300-seat Helen K. Persson Hall and the 1,400-seat outdoor Michael and Andrew Gosman Amphitheatre.
