NEW YORK - Sept. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- The Local Development Corporation of East New York (LDCENY) through the Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Program is proud to host the “Best of the Strip” awards and business networking event, in recognition of business owner’s community efforts after Hurricane Sandy. Community leaders and elected officials are also invited to participate of this event, which will take place on Thursday, September 26th, 2013, from 6pm to 8pm at the Baile Na Ngael Irish Pub located at 2750 Gerritsen Avenue in Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn.

The business owners being honored are:

·         Charles Hasbourne, President of B.A.D. Scuba, Inc.

·         Dan A.Ene, President of Enewhere Industries, LLC

·         Doreen Garson, President of Doreen Greenwood Realty, Inc.

·         James Donovan, Principal at Donovan OMC, LLC

The event will kick off with special music performance by classical music group Current Soul featuring Ian Levy.

The Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Program, provided by the LDCENY is made possible thanks to a collaborative agreement with the US Small Business Administration.
