Follow on Google News | Dedham Savings Hosts Annual Shred DayBy: Dedham Savings Destroying documents containing private and secure information is an important and necessary step in ensuring privacy and security, as well as clearing up much needed room around the home or office. On Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 9am to 12pm Dedham Savings is holding a Shred Day. The event will be located at the Dedham Savings Main Office at 55 Elm Street, Dedham, MA and is open to all. This is a great opportunity for members of the local community to come and shred old documents safely, securely and for free! Items that can be shredded include old documents, checks, statements, copy paper, envelopes, manila folders, note pads, old tax returns and invoices. Staples and paperclips do not need to be removed from items prior to being shredded. There is a five (5) box maximum per carload. Items that cannot be shredded include newspaper, cardboard, phone books, catalogs, trash, wood, metal, plastic, metal binders, stickers, shrink wrap, rubber bands, books and magazines.
