Background on Creekside Farms Owners/Farmers:

Larry and Carol are co-owners and founders of Creekside Farms. After moving the company into the new facility in Greenfield from the home ranch in King City, they both started thinking toward a future that involved retirement. Larry’s love of farming has kept him involved in the growing of all of the herbs and flowers. They have come full circle with the planting of the home ranch, back into lavender. Carol is still involved in the day-to-day marketing and general planning but hopes to spend more time taking care of the 11 grandchildren they have been blessed with. Being able to have a business that involves their 3 sons and their families is a dream come true for Carol and Larry.

Background on Mundaka:

The menu at Mundaka currently includes Summer Truffles, zucchini fresh from Georis garden and Mundaka just added Pardon Peppers.  “The famous pepper from Padron, Spain is known as the Russian Roulette of peppers,” said Miller.  “One out of every 10 is very spicy!”  Padron peppers will be offered on the Mundaka tapas menu for a limited time and cost $7.

Chef Miller is also pulling his famous Mozzarella daily.  The cheese is pulled fresh each morning and only available while supplies last.  The Mozzarella tapas dish is available for $9.  Miller said, “You never know what comes to our kitchen door.  The other day, we had an amazing 40 lb, line caught Halibut delivered through the dining room in the middle of dinner service.  I had an entire table in my kitchen taking pictures!”

From tapas to authentic Spanish main courses, Mundaka's menu has something for everyone.  With its authentic menu, diverse Spanish wine selection and warm and comfortable Spanish interior design, Mundaka makes you feel as if you are on a European vacation.  Prices range from $3 - $15 for tapas and share plates beginning at $40.

Mundaka is located at San Carlos between Ocean and 7th in Carmel-by-the-Sea and is open daily for dinner from 5:30 p.m.  The kitchen closes Sunday through Wednesday at 10:00 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday at 11:00 p.m.  For more information or to make reservations or book a private event, please call (831) 624-7400 or go to www.mundakacarmel.com.
