Chicago Education Going To The Dogs Supermodel Style! Lineup of companies participating in pet fas

CHICAGO - Sept. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- The International Association of Pet Fashion Professionals is pleased to announce that it is holding its first pet fashion show as an association in conjunction with Backer’s Total Pet Expo September 20, 2013 from 7 – 9 PM Central Time at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. This celebration of embracing the human-animal bond through creative design will have a “Back-To-School” theme showcasing the pet industry’s top fashion talent. Ten percent of ticket sales will go to local Chicago not-for-profit One Tail At A Time. Please NOTE: This event IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

This exclusive event will feature ready-to-wear and student pieces walking the catwalk competing to win the coveted prize package, which includes booth space at the Backer’s Spring Total Pet Expo in Atlantic City, NJ in April 2014. A select number of couture designers will also be featured during the show with some of their most divine pieces of handy work. The following companies will be represented during the show: ada.nieves.for.pets, Beardie Bags, Central Park Pups, Critter Zone, Dazzle Pets, Diamonds In The Ruff Ruff, Dog Fashion Spa, The Hair Doc Company with Bass Pet Grooming, LEGITIMUTT, Orostani Couture (local Chicago designer Olga Yuditsky’s line), and Pawz Dog Boots.

Closing out the fashion show as the grand finale will be supermodel Kristy Hinze Clark who has created the LEGITIMUTT line which designs and manufactures luxury products for dogs— all made in America. Kristy was the youngest model to sign a contract with Australian Vogue and later hosted Project Runway Australia.

Attendees, exhibitors, and the public are invited to attend this night of fun, fabulous pet fashion. This industry must-attend event will have general admission and VIP seating. Ticketing information to be released later in June 2013.
