3DS 6.3 Flashcards Recommendation

APTOS, Calif. - Sept. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- A few days ago, Nintendo launched a new update for Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL, it's 6.3.0-12 version in Europe and US. This is a tiny update but it's supposed to block a few flashcards such as ace3ds plus card and r4i-sdhc v5.0 etc. Most of the flashcards have bypassed the firmware update with no patch required. If you are unsure as to which flashcard to buy for your 3ds/3ds xl with 6.3 firmware. Read on please.
Currently, http://www.thegamerdepot.com/buy-wood-r4i-gold-3ds-card-for-3ds-xl3dsdsids-p-150.html this R4i Gold RTS 3DS card is the most reliable because it is most likely to survive any 3ds firmware updates in the future, while the other R4 flashcards are not. It would suck that your flash cart doesn't update for the Nintendo update, you will need to buy a new card.
BTW, I was looking for a US based website where I could buy a r4i gold rts 3ds flashcard from and I ended up getting mine from TheGamerDepot, very fast delivery (under 5 days). Highly recommend them if anyone is looking to buy.
If you have extra money, supercard dstwo is a good choice as well. It is compatible with the latest N3DS/3DS XL/DSi console and it has built-in GBA/SNES emulators. But it is a little bit pricy, double the price of r4i gold card.
Just beware that all these cards above only allow you to play ds roms on your 3ds console, if you want to play 3ds roms, you'll need a gateway 3ds card, but this card is not compatible with firmware above 4.5 nor under 4.1. And it is pretty expensive, almost five times the price of the r4 card. Also it is rather restricted, for example, only one game per SD card etc.
