Follow on Google News | The Call Centre in the running for top TV awardsHaving already won an award for Best Reality Non-Competition show at the National Reality TV Awards this week, the BBC3 series 'The Call Centre' is in the running for a coveted award at the National Television Awards 2014.
By: Save Britain Money With all winners determined by public vote, viewers are asked to pledge their votes by 11th October in a selection of categories which include Best Serial Drama, Best Talent Show and Best Entertainment Presenter. Amongst the categories for 2014, 'The Call Centre' will be competing for Best Documentary Series against a long list of nominations which include Africa, Inside Claridge’s My Big Fat Gypsy Valentine and Paul O'Grady's Working Britain. Last year the award was handed to David Attenborough’ Attended by well-established and much loved characters from a vast selection of television programmes, previous winners include Coronation Street, Downton Abbey, Ant and Dec and Strictly Come Dancing. The event will be broadcast live on ITV on the 22nd January from the O2 Arena and host Dermot O’Leary will have the enviable task of announcing the winners.
