Maitlands Celebrate Successful First Year In The City

PLYMOUTH, U.K. - Sept. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Spirits were high as Maitlands Sales and Lettings celebrated the first anniversary of the opening of their Plymouth branch at Studio 5-11 on Tuesday 17th September.

To mark the occasion, clients from the past year and local businesses were invited to join the team for an evening of drinks and canapés.

The evening marked the culmination of a busy 12 months for the firm, which not only saw it expand to four local branches with the addition of the new city office, but also the launch of two specialist teams.

Last September the company launched Maitlands City, a team specialising in the sale of homes throughout the city. As a sign of the changing property market, more recently the busy company added a further team – Maitlands First Homes – which are dedicated to helping those looking to sell their first home before taking the next step on the property ladder.

Discussing the first year in the city, Andy Blacklock, Managing Director at Maitlands, said: “Our Plymouth branch was two years in the making and although we made the move when the market was still unpredictable, we were confident that we could make a real difference to the local property market in Plymouth.

“In today’s society we’re all time poor, especially when it comes to moving, so our vision was to create a branch that could make the moving process as quick and easy as possible. We wanted to create almost a one-stop-shop where our clients could come and arrange all aspects of their move, from mortgage advice with our in-house team of mortgage advisors, right through to organising their removal service.

“Looking back over our results from the past year, I’m confident that we’ve been able to make this dream a reality. Our team have worked tirelessly to achieve great results for each and every client.

“Our opening 12 months ago was a rather quiet affair. We didn’t want to hold a big launch party to celebrate what we were planning on achieving. Instead we made the decision to start as we meant to go on and focused on delivering the results that our customers hoped to achieve.

“Now we’re a year in, we wanted to take a quick moment out with our anniversary party to say a big thank you to each client that has chosen Maitlands as their agent this year. It’s then business as usual as we look to the final quarter to help those looking to move before the end of the year.”
