Open House At WARDJet Manufacturing Facility To Showcase Waterjet Cutting Developments

TALLMADGE, Ohio - Sept. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- WARDJet, Inc. has arranged an open house to showcase their facility and current waterjet cutting developments. The Open House event will be held Wednesday, October 23^rd and Thursday, October 24^th, 2013 at the WARDJet headquarters in Tallmadge, Ohio. The schedule of exhibitions and demonstrations are organized to allow visitors the opportunity to choose which topics to attend based on their interests. A sampling of the topics that will be covered at the WARDJet Open House include an introduction to the abrasive waterjet robot, programming for 5-axis cutting, and recycling waterjet abrasive. WARDJet will be operating all of the showroom waterjets to demonstrate their capabilities to companies, students, and local government officials. Both Wednesday and Thursday will feature similar itineraries to encourage out-of-town visitors to stop in whichever day best suits their schedule.

The WARDJet Open House is open to the public but individuals who plan on attending must register online. The schedule of events is listed on the webpage to assist individuals in planning their visit to WARDJet. Refreshments and lunch will be provided to attendees as well as a number of giveaways related to the waterjet cutting industry. The WARDJet headquarters is a production facility and work will continue on actual waterjet cutting machines as the open house is conducted. Visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable, durable clothing; long pants and closed toed shoes are required to walk on the production floor where many of the exhibitions and demonstrations will take place.

WARDJet is excited to introduce the Multipurpose Abrasive Waterjet Robot, a new addition to the WARDJet production floor. Robotics industry leader Yaskawa Motoman will be on hand to provide a brief introduction to robots as an emerging waterjet cutting technology and answer questions related to automation and applications. The Abrasive Waterjet Robot will demonstrate cutting with water-only at the top of every hour during the WARDJet Open House. WARDJet team members will also cut with 5-axis cutting heads on the newly installed showroom Z-Series as well as on the sensational low-cost Emerald Series waterjet.
