MIAMI - Sept. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- The Children’s Gallery and Arts Center, Inc. is launching a new collection of wearable art accessories. These unique products are very limited edition and others are just one-of-a-kind. So, if you want to be fashionably dressed with impeccable taste, enjoy the opportunity of owning a piece of our unique wearable art fashion collection: Bella TM, created by artists and only for her.

Natalie Prieto, one of the founders of this wonderful nonprofit and a visual artist herself explains:  “This is not the first time we print original artworks on textiles, we did that on T-shirts made of high performance fabric but since we are not in the wholesale business, the production of these tees became too expensive. Scarves are trendy, ageless and size-less fashion accessories that are actually considered essential pieces to complete a Chic look. Scarves are versatile and the appeal is characterized by an aura of elegance.  Women can accessorize themselves differently just by using our scarves as a stylish belt or under a blazer to make the outfit look different.  Actually I consider a scarf a synonym of the word glamour. On the other hand, we have our unique tunics created by textile artist Sue Barimo, which truly are super sexy, elegant and versatile pieces to wear at the beach or at a party. I am proud to say that what we are creating here is an innovative and timeless opportunity for artists to show their work in wearable -or functional- form and for women to become walking art galleries”. Natalie also says that women have been creating their own “art fashion and make-over party” since they started selling their new product. Carlos Franco, gallery director and artists says: “It’s super fun; one of them just have to call the gallery/atelier and let us know that a group of ladies are coming to our place, or simply come to enjoy our variety of art, fashion products and accessories. We make them feel great, including a little wine tasting as a courtesy. Admission to the activity is absolutely free”.

I agree. These artists’ scarves, foulard, shawlss and tunics are exceptionally beautiful pieces of high quality that work wonders for every woman and every style. Natalie, Carlos and Susan’s artistic designs run from asymmetric and geometric prints to combinations of stripes, dots and nonfigurative paintings, which make them widely admired for their abstract look.

Most ofBella TM’s line is made of chiffon, created to preserve the natural softness and luster of this fine fiber, which requires very little care. Just hand-wash in cold water and hang it to dry, if you prefer.  The uniqueness of this sheer fabric is upheld with shades, subtle texture and vibrant tones. This wearable art collection offers women, numerous ways to complement their casual or elegant look.

This collection is now available at The Children’s Gallery and Arts Center, a nonprofit organization for the visual and the performing arts located inside the Historic Village of Cauley Square in south Miami, and also at http://artnoise.weebly.com This collection is part of the multiple and unconventional fundraising efforts local artists do in order to continue providing art education services to deprived children in the Homestead and Florida City communities, including kids with special needs and disabilities. Every single sale benefits The Children's gallery and Arts Center Scholarship Fund.

These local artists are also willing to work with schools, PTAs, other nonprofit organizations, individual artists and groups seeking unconventional but effective ways to raise funds for their charities and/or projects. Interested people just have to call to request more information or to set an appintment.

Now, you can take scarves and tunics to a higher dimension and express your unique personality by adding a distinctive artsy style to your outfit, while helping a very noble cause.
