American Technology Showcased At Pacific 2013 Australian Tradeshow

U.S. company experts will be on hand to share news and knowledge face-to-face with the Asia-Pacific maritime and naval defense community

Trade, military and government visitors will be headed to Hall 4 to see the U.S. International Pavilion at the Pacific International Maritime Exposition October 7-9, 2013, at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Sydney, Australia.

In addition to 25+ American companies displaying the latest and most important maritime and defense technology, the U.S. Pavilion will also host the U.S. Australia Centennial Display. This unique exhibit comprises historically-significant and accurate scale-model ships embodying and celebrating 100 years of cooperation between the U.S. Navy and the Royal Australian Navy.

The new U.S. Ambassador to Australia, the honorable John Berry, is scheduled to open the U.S. Pavilion the first day of the show (Monday morning)*, followed by the dedication of the U.S. Australia Centennial Display.  The ambassador will then meet exhibitors in the U.S. Pavilion on an escorted tour.

The U.S. Department of Commerce’s U.S. Commercial Service has granted the show Trade Fair Certification status.
