Garrett Albright joins Propeople as Senior Drupal Developer

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Sept. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Propeople, leading Drupal Agency (http://wearepropeople.com) has appointed Garrett Albright as Senior Drupal Developer, thus making part of a team of more than 175 web developers worldwide. Garrett brings nearly 5 years of Drupal development experience the his new position within the Propeople company.

His biggest accomplishment in the Drupal community is the Pathologic module which has been installed on over 30, 000 sites. Pathologic is an input filter which can correct paths in links and images in a Drupal content in situations which would otherwise cause them “break”.  This module can also solve the problem of missing images and broken links in site’s RSS feeds.

Garrett has also worked on Zenophile module, which allows themers to start new Zen subthemes without all the tedious file copying and find-and-replacing required when creating subthemes by hand. Zenophile includes a simple API allowing developers to create their own modules to modify Zenophile's behavior and add their own features.

During three years, Garrett has lived in Japan and was member of the small Japan Drupal Community.

Aside from Drupal, Garrett also dabbled in iOS development, and even created a free app called WPTrans available in App Store. This application utilizes the Wikipedia free online encyclopedia as a multi-lingual translation dictionary. As the articles in Wikipedia link to articles on the same topic in other languages when available, one can query Wikipedia in such a way to serve as a sort of human-curated database of translations of words and topics to dozens of different languages.
