Sky Zone’s Second Annual Ultimate Dodgeball Championship To Award $50,000 In Prizes

Sept. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS (September 18, 2013) - Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park, creator of the world’s first all-trampoline, walled playing court hosts the top eight Local Qualifier winners to contend for the title and $20,000 grand prize at theSecond Annual Ultimate Dodgeball Championshipat Sky Zone Las Vegas. Over $50,000 in total prizes will be up for grabs at the Championship Tournament games to be played on September 21 and 22, 2013 and later broadcast nationwide across the Fox Sports Network affiliates. Sky Zone’s Second Annual Ultimate Dodgeball Championship will be played on its patented trampoline court, combining high-flying jumps and leaps with the athleticism and agility of traditional dodgeball.

In August, 30 Sky Zone parks held Local Qualifiers to determine the teams that would be advancing through to the final leg of the Second Annual Ultimate Dodgeball Championship. Seven top-ranking teams were selected based on their winning percentage, average win time efficiency and player elimination efficiency. The eighth team won their Local Qualifier and secured a coveted spot at the Championship Tournament through an online contest in which fans voted for their favorite team on Facebook. The Championship Tournament will feature teams of five versus five, with eight maximum members on each roster.
