For the crew of the starship Sanación, colonizing a new planet would prove to be easier said, than done.
Soon, the small pioneering outpost, with a contingency of both soldiers and scientists, will uncover evidence of earth-shattering proportion—proof of alien life.
For several crewmembers, though, unknown footprints found on the planet’s surface illicit more fear and distrust, than any hint of scientific curiosity.
As questions quickly outpace answers, the mission’s military leader Colonel Steve Jensen, along with civilian leader Jake Freeman, collaborate on an effort to capture one of the planet’s native life forms…and soon, a creature is caged.
Fascinated by its apparent intelligence, Colonel Jensen makes an attempt to communicate with the captive and is met with an encouraging response.
But it appears the scientists have something else in mind…
…terminate the creature and perform an autopsy to identify any strengths or weaknesses.
As Colonel Jensen rushes to save the alien’s life, a civilian dies. Now blamed with the murder of a crew member, Colonel Jensen must escape the confines of the outpost and seek answers where he would least expect to find them…
From the alien source itself.
