Columbia Gorge International Film Festval Winner of Best Narrative Feature & Best Director: The Indie Gathering 2013 Los Angeles, CA - (21 September 2013) - The independent comedy/drama feature Thursday's Speaker, starring Del Zamora, will have its Los Angeles Premiere at the IFQ Film Festival at Raleigh Studios on Saturday, September 21st at 4pm at the Chaplin Building. This is the feature film debut from writer and Director Gary Hebert. Thursday's Speaker explores serious issues like alcoholism, teen drinking, unplanned pregnancy, and the lies told to hide it all with lightness and humor. Rodrigo Orieta is a charismatic, motivational twelve-step speaker whose world is built on dishonesty. Gary Hebert has crafted a comedic tale of a quest to live honestly with a new and unexpected family. Del Zamora has worked as a professional actor for over 30 years. His 100+ credits range from Repo Man and Robo Cop, to True Blood and Longmire. He's a character actor with the versatility to play such varied roles as well as the charisma to carry a film like Thursday's Speaker as Rodrigo.
