Christian Recording Artist Lee Whitaker Is Back With The Release Of His Contemporary Christian Album

PHILADELPHIA - Sept. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- (Philadelphia, PA) September 18, 2013, Inn Yarde Records Christian recording artist Lee Whitaker released his long awaited album Alabaster Jar  on September 3, 2013. All 11 tracks produced by Whitaker and his wonderful production breaths life into some familiar Bible stories on the Alabaster Jar.

The Alabaster Jar takes you on a wonderful Christian musical journey with the mandolin, slide, and acoustic guitars giving Alabaster Jar's Bible based songs a warm country/roots vibe.  Lee's inspired lyrics make The Word come alive and resonate with believers and non believers alike.  Whitaker debuted his new single, The Alabaster Jar off the album with a performance on TBN (Trinity Broadcast Network), the single will be serviced to all Contemporary Christian radio and has been entered in the 56th Grammys ® for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song.

Whitaker was recently chosen by Share Jesus International (SJI) to perform at The Pentecost Festival in London in 2014 and SJI made a special request for Whitaker to perform the first track off of Alabaster Jar, Winds of Pentecost which speaks of the birth of the Christian Church from ACTS 2 from the Bible. Whitaker is presently planning a UK church tour to coincide with the festival.

Whitaker is no newcomer to the music industry, he found success in 2005 when his single In My Heart Is A Well from his Songs From The Hourglass album got extensive airplay in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and hit #1 in the Netherlands following his European radio tour.  On Friday, October 4, 2013 Whitaker will perform songs from the new album, Alabaster Jar, at the Haddon Heights Community Center.  This free concert will benefit the nonprofit Interfaith Caregivers.

When not touring or recording Whitaker enjoys spending time with his wife Pamela, their kids and most Sunday mornings you will find him playing at the Pitman United Methodist Church and co-leading a Bible study for young adults from Life Link, one of the Robins Nest programs.
