220 Publishing Hosts the Book Brunch: Educational Workshops About the Business Of Writing

CHICAGO - Sept. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- 220 Publishing a division of 220 Communications will hold its annual day of education and enlightenment about the business of book publishing.   The Book Brunch: Education About Publishing will be held at the Wyndham Blake Hotel, 500 S. Dearborn St., Chicago, IL on Saturday, September 21st from Noon to 6 p.m.  The event will feature concurrent panels on the business of publishing as well as panels highlighting the different genres featuring authors from the company’s own imprint as well as a number of guest authors.

The event was created for writers interested in writing a book as well as those with books they feel have stalled and are in need of a boost.  Panels include help for writer’s block, for those considering self-publishing vs. traditional publishing, advice from a panel of marketing experts.  The “Meet the Authors” tracks will feature self-help, inspirational and fiction writers.  The event will include brunch for VIP ticket holders and a post event networking and signing featuring the panelists and moderators for the day.  This is the first in what the publisher plans to become an annual event.
