WWCMA Releases Resource Guide at Annual Wellness Conference

WESTFORD, Mass. - Sept. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Westford, MA – September 17 - Today the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts (WWCMA) released “Healthy Workplaces: A Resource Guide for Worksite Wellness” at the 2^nd Annual Wellness Conference, Transforming Worksite Wellness Beyond Return on Investment (ROI.)

The resource guide contains listings of non-commercial, publicly available resources and is intended to assist worksite health promotion and human resources professionals in planning, implementing and evaluating their wellness programs. The first version of the guide is now available online (http://wwcma.org/2013/09/announcing-worksite-wellness-resource-guide) and each September an updated version will be published.

The wellness conference brings together members, business leaders, and health promotion professionals from across the Commonwealth to network and learn best practices in worksite wellness from premier national and local experts. In “Transforming Worksite Wellness Beyond ROI,” keynote speaker, Ron Goetzel, PhD, addresses impacts beyond healthcare cost savings, organizational culture and effectiveness, as well as the challenges and limitations of ROI studies.
