A Master Watchmaker undergoes a high level of specialist watch repair training for around ten years. Knowledgable in the mechanism and fabrication of all timepieces, he is therefore able to diagnose and solve any watch problem, either by simple reparation or fabrication of lost parts.
Currently, there are less than 10 Master Watchmakers in the UK and their skills are highly sought after. The Master Watchmaker at W.E. Clark & Son will provide a specialist watch repair service from the Eastbourne jewellery shop, he excels at Rolex watch servicing and customers can be confident that all servicing and repairs will be carried out to the highest standard.
W.E. Clark & Son stock and repair a huge range of beautiful watches including Rotary, Bering and Citizen, ensuring sensitive handling of all quality timepieces.
Both the Eastbourne and Lewes branches provide a comprehensive list of specialist watch repair services from simple watchstrap replacement to winder mechanism repair and the more technical and intricate service of internal watch mechanisms.
Both jewellers offer a watch battery replacement service for most watches while you wait, or a postal service available throughout the UK, for which insured return postage comes at a small extra cost. Each replacement battery has a twelve month guarantee, where possible, only new recommended batteries are used and charges are very reasonable, in most cases it will cost no more than £5.50.
Watch pressure testing is also available at the Eastbourne shop, especially recommended if customers plan to get their water resistant watch wet. The seal of each timepiece can be checked using our own pressure testing equipment according to the manufacturer's specifications. Great care is taken to avoid damaging the watchcase and it is always opened and sealed properly using specialist manufacturer recommended tools.
Of course, good timekeeping is imperative and after each service the time is always checked.
The Master Watchmaker will be based in W.E. Clark & Son in Eastbourne, yet customers can drop their watches off at either store, or enquire regarding the convenient postage service: http://www.weclarkandson.co.uk/
