Join Team Smile Savers Dentistry in October

COLUMBIA, Md. - Sept. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Columbia, MD dentist office Smile Savers Dentistry (http://www.smilesaversdentistry.com) is teaming up again to help a local organization raise much needed funds. The staff along with family, friends and patients will be running/walking in this year's 2nd Annual Truckin' 4 Troops 5K in Pasadena, MD on October 12, 2013.

Truckin' 4 Troops is dedicated to supporting and serving wounded servicemen and women through creating family functions and events such as bonfires, cookouts, swimming, boating, etc. to get the wounded and their families out of the hospital for well-needed rehabilitation. Truckin' 4 Troops utilizes their extremely huge F650 pickup trucks, along with a 15-passenger handicap accessible bus, to transport the wounded veterans and their families to their events as well as coordinate their efforts with other non-profit organizations in need of transportation to their events.

The Columbia, MD dental office is raising money through donations and team sponsorships. Smile Savers Dentistry will be collecting donations from staff, patients and area businesses before the event. "We are extremely excited to help raise money for this fantastic organization in Maryland," said Dr. Daniel Stewart. "It's just a small way we can honor our wounded servicemen and women but we are happy to help in any way we can."
