K.A.W.S. Marketing Group, Inc. Hits the 25% Mark of Fundraising Goal for Operation Smile

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Sept. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- K.A.W.S. Marketing Group, Inc. has partnered with their local Chick-fil-A for recent fundraising activities that have pushed them over the 25% mark for their $5,750.00 fundraising goal for Operation Smile for a current total of $1,443.94 raised.  They provided discounted food items such as Chicken Biscuits to sell for K.A.W.S. Marketing to be able to raise approximately one dollar per biscuit.  The team at K.A.W.S. sold 90 chicken biscuits over the summer which earned them $88.86 to go toward Operation Smile.  Chick-fil-A also allowed K.A.W.S. Marketing to hold a car wash in their parking lot this past Saturday afternoon from 11am to 3pm.  With the college football fans stopping by for game day party platters, the car wash was a huge success raising $305.81.  Since they were an enormous success, these fundraisers are only the first of many partnered with Chick-fil-A.

K.A.W.S. Marketing Group, Inc. has been raising money for Operation Smile’s medical missions all year. With bake sales in the spring and summer already totaling $784.27 and personal donations of $265.00, they are well on their way of meeting that $5,750.00 goal for such a worthy cause.  Operation Smile not only provides free care and safe surgeries for these children, but they also train medical teams in country to continue their work and help them establish self-sufficiency.  Their mission is to help these countries have the ability to repair cleft lips and palates at birth.  Operation Smile has performed over 200,000 surgeries worldwide.  These procedures cost only $240.00 per child and with the money raised so far, K.A.W.S. Marketing has already been able to sponsor 6 children!

K.A.W.S. Marketing Group, Inc. has previously helped the community by volunteering and fundraising for the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta (DSAA), and Special Olympics, among others.  They have plans for a number of other events this year in support of Operation Smile and DSAA including the upcoming DSAA Buddy Walk next month at Centennial Park.
