Catherine Rose Chiara could not find a good inexpensive display wall for her booth at an art fair so she designed and built her own. She was then able to professionally display her artwork in an attractive setting.

MANDEVILLE, La. - Sept. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Catherine Rose Chiara is a painter with many paintings and decided to enter the Hyde Park Art Show in Cincinnati, Ohio.  After being selected for the show, Catherine rented a tent and began to look for walls to attractively display her artwork.  She could not find anything and decided to design and build the wall herself.  Catherine has designed many things, mostly fashion accessories, but has a strong ability to get designs from her imagination onto paper.  She began with 1x2's and lattice strips, two of her favorite building materials.  For the fabric she decided to use burlap not only for its strength but because it is very inexpensive.  Her original design called for chicken wire.  After building the frame from the 1x2's and adding the painted burlap, Catherine realized she had designed a very durable product.  She recently decided to share these designs with others who may have a need for a display wall or would like to make a room divider for their studio or home space.  These are available in PDF format or hardcopy at diyscreens.webs.com for only $24.99.
