“We like to book couples sessions. What usually works for us is a 1½-hour session on a Saturday evening about once a month. That way we can get the therapists we want,” he says. “It’s our couple’s time. We kid and joke around at the beginning.”

Jim likes Gloria, a deep tissue massage therapist. The first time he saw her, he mentioned that his knee was giving him problems. “One treatment and the knee has been better ever since,” he explains. “I already had surgery on one knee – this was the other knee. Gloria also works on my shoulder where I had a sports injury.”

“I am definitely a fan of Massage Envy. There’s the overall relaxation, and I like being able to get a particular therapist,” Jim states.
