NEW YORK (NY) - Below The Line is a new comedy web series launching September 29, 2013 8pm on BelowtheLineSeries.com. In the film and television industry, below the line means anyone working on the physical aspects of a television or film production. Day players, Stand ins, Body Doubles, Stunt Players, Make up Artists, Production Assistants, Prop Masters, Location Scouts, Grips, Electricians and Wardrobe, all the various union and non-union laborers the industry relies on to get their entertainment product made on time – and hopefully, on budget.

Below The Line features stories that are ripped from the mouths of amusingly disgruntled “below-the-liners.”  Each episode focuses on one of the friends rehashing some of their most awkward BTL stories. Told through flashback, we see these based on true events parodied.  Names and titles have been changed to protect the innocent. Below The Line has a diverse cast of regulars with guest starring roles each episode and shot on location all over Brooklyn and New York City.

Conceived by actress Simone Butler and developed into a web series with Co-Producer/Writer Erika Yeomans,  Below The Line is a fun, short comedy web series aimed for a plugged in audience who wants their entertainment on the go - delivered short (3-5 minutes), sharp and mobile. Though the BTL stories are based on the television and film industry - the characters and situations are relatable to anyone that has worked with oddballs, cranks or crazy bosses.

Season 1 of Below The Line is comprised of 6 Episodes ranging from actor audition nightmares, to surreal production offices, wardrobe malfunctions and movie star wrangling fiascos. Launches September 29th.
