“Melodi Release its Debut Album Entitled “Nou Rive.”

NEW YORK - Sept. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- MELODI is pleased to announce the arrival of its FIRST studio album appropriately titled “NOU RIVE”. The new up and coming Haitian Music Industry (HMI) band’s long-awaited debut album, “Nou Rive” (we’ve arrived) is a musical journey crafted with everyday life situations; it touches topics of love, inspiration, self-reflection, heartbreak and humor making it relatable and easily connects with listeners of all ages. The full-length recording comprises thirteen new, original tracks and is currently available via digital download from online retailers ranging from iTunes, CDbaby to Amazon.com. The album will be available in hard copy on October 04^th 2013.

MELODI introduced themselves to the HMI back in 2010, with the release of their single “Yo Bare’m” and performing at “Home of Universal Music” SOBs and events such as La Nuit des Jeunes in New York. However in 2011 the band went into hiatus from the music scene to focus more on their studio album.

The guys started their journey off with an occasional jam session amongst friends led by Guy Brice and Richard Cantave until a few friends encouraged the young songwriter, producer, and keyboard player (Brice) to make something serious out of his raw yet undeniably impressive talent. Guy and Richard hit the studio and they are later joined by Valery Cantave (Lead Vocal) Johnson "Johny Walker" Edouard (Drums) Daniel "Nappy" Lubin (Cowbell) Berthin "Spiderman" Gedeon (Guitars) Perpetit "Dr.Bolo" St.Rose (congas) Lovensky Gabeau. The year 2010 MELODI is born in New York. However their short formation doesn’t lack in experience. Guy Brice is no novice to the HMI; he’s partaken on several projects in the past lending his talent to well known bands; Fasil, Tempo, Karizma and most recently co-producing Olivier Duret's song titled “Danre Ra.” With their new album, MELODI plans to add fire to the young Konpa band torch that will shine brighter than ever seen before in the New York market.
