Phillip James Consulting Adds Fee-Only Financial Planning to Service Offering

PLYMOUTH, Minn. - Sept. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Phillip James Consulting has served the twin cities community with their accounting and tax services for the past several years. The addition of financial planning services was a natural progression.  Now, in addition to professional accounting, tax planning, and tax preparation, Phillip James will be able to offer financial planning and investment management to its current and new clients.

Phillip James chose the fee-only model for their new financial planning services citing the trend towards fiduciary planning. “We looked at all of our options but fee-only was the clear choice.  It removes the conflict of interest associated with commission based planning. It's what's best for our clients.” said Phillip R.Christenson, the owner and portfolio manager at the firm.

Phillip Christenson, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), will manage this new service offering.  James L. Sexton, CPA, a prinicpal at the firm, will continue to lead the accounting and tax practice, but will provide the resources needed to grow the new financial planning and investment management practice.
