Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q to Host Spirit Night for Note in the Pocket on September 16th

WAKE FOREST, N.C. - Sept. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- The temperatures are beginning to fall, but the needs of more than 50,000 children in the area for adequate clothing are rising. Note in the Pocket serves as a clothing resource to the many agencies and organizations already working to help feed, house, and educate some of the most vulnerable in the community. Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q wants to help Note in the Pocket provide children with the right clothes to stay warm as the seasons change, so its Wake Forest location (12504 Capital Blvd) will donate 10% of its sales from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on September 16^th.

Note in the Pocket needs a steady stream of seasonably appropriate clothing coming in at all times, so getting the word out is critical. Dallas Bonavita, Executive Director of Note in the Pocket emphasizes, “We are so grateful to Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q for hosting this spirit night! Community support like this means Note in the Pocket can reach more children and their families.”
