SACHIKA to Showcase Spring/Summer ’14 at Viet Fashion Week

WESTMINSTER, Calif. - Sept. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- This year will mark the first and only Annual Viet Fashion Week. Designers, To-Tam & To-Nya Sachika will be opening the show with a big bang! Vietnamese designers, Calvin Hiep, Thai Nguyen, Jacky Tai, Cynthia Bui, Vicki Nguyen, and Peter Phan will also showcase their collections, varying from cultural to modern and ready- to-wear to avant-garde. Community partners such as Viet Face TV and the Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce will be supporting their appreciation for the creativity of these talented designers. Viet Fashion Week was created and founded by Tracy Pham has been a professional fashion show choreographer for over 15 years.

The fashion event starts at 8pm with a fabulous red carpet and cocktail hour for VIP guests which will lead into the main runway show at 9pm. The two-hour fashion show will showcase over 140 designs adorned on 70 models. VIP guests and sponsors will then have admission to the exclusive post mixer.

The event will take place all in one evening but leading up to the event, each designer’s process and preparation for the show will be filmed and broadcasted on Viet Face TV as a reality TV based show. Thuy Nga Productions will then release the much anticipated fashion show on DVD.

About Tracy Pham: Tracy Pham, professionally trained for runway at the age of 16 but started her modeling career in college. She volunteered as a model at the local universities and began working with up-and-coming designers. Tracy became a fashion show choreographer and had the opportunity to work in Europe, Asia, Canada, and many parts of the U.S. She has directed & choreographed over 300 fashion shows in the past 16 years & has been a pageant director for Miss Global, Miss Vietnam Global, and Miss Vietnam USA. Tracy is now a board of directors for the Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce and organizes community charity benefits through fashion shows.
