Sachika To Auction Spring/summer '14 Dress At Face Forward Gala

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Sept. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- This year will mark the 4^th annual Face Forward Gala, which will be hosted by the founders of the non-profit organization, Dr. David Alessi and his wife, Deborah Alessi. The evening will be filled with the 1920s glitz and glamour, hence this year’s theme of “A Gatsby Affair,” while still remembering and benefiting the survivors of domestic violence. Designers, To-Tam & To-Nya Sachika, will be displaying and auctioning one of their breathtaking dresses to help raise funds and spread awareness for domestic violence. Turkish Airlines, Torrey Pines Bank, Four Seasons Resort, and Media & Press Kit will be sponsoring this event.

The Gatsby-themed affair will start at 8 P.M. with a star-studded red carpet. The evening will consist of a silent auction, live auction, formal dinner, dancing, and special performances by Stacy Francis and Grammy Award Winner recording artist Macy Gray. This event calls for an unforgettable evening that will be benefitting an important cause.

All funds raised at the gala will be directed towards physical and emotional reconstruction for individuals who have been affected by domestic or gang related violence. All surgical procedures will be performed by Dr. David Alessi and his team.

About Face Forward: Face Forward was established in 2008 as a non-profit organization that worked to receive funds and donations to provide services to individuals who have been victims of violence through gang aggression or domestic violence. Such services include identifying victims of violence all around the nation and providing facial surgical reconstructive services for them. About Deborah Alessi: Deborah Alessi is the founder of Face Forward. She attended University of Glasgow in Scotland, where she received an advanced degree in business management. Before and after moving to the United States, she worked in the aviation industry and assisted many companies and individuals in selecting, purchasing, and managing private aircrafts. Deborah is a survivor of domestic violence and works to help other survivors have a second chance at life

About Dr. David Alessi: Dr. David Alessi is the co-founder of Face Forward. He has been specializing in both Facial Plastic reconstructive Surgery and Head and Neck disorders for over 23 years. He is also significantly published, having given over 200 lectures on sinus surgery, facial rejuvenation, and voice disorders. He has taken care of many impoverished patients when they had no other doctors to turn to for reconstruction.
