One of the leading logistics solutions providers recently launched their new website –www.ShipAmerican.com.  Bandwidth Productions was the agency responsible for the website’s design & development.

NEW YORK, NY, September 15, 2013 - (Press Release) –The American Companies, one of the leaders in the Logistics Solutions industry, recently launched their brand new website.  Although established as a freight forwarder, handling internationally bound cargo in the New York Hudson River area, they have always focused on providing seamless product and information flow.  This dedication as an end to end provider has helped them to grow to the point where they now offer an entire suite of complementary services: Customs Broker, Freight Forwarding, Logistics operations, Trucking and Warehousing.

The new website was designed using Responsive Web Design (http://bandwidthproductions.com/blog/4/what-is-responsive...) protocols in an effort to allow users a seamless experience regardless of the screen size used for viewing – Mobile, Tablet or Desktop.  Additionally, since the American Companies has a large presence overseas, a section of the website was devoted to its Asian offices.  In this particular case -in an effort to maximize user engagement - this section was designed with a clear ‘call to action’ button that upon activation still retained the integrity and branding of the overall site.

Along the same lines as user engagement, another focus of the website was the desire to highlight the Thought Leadership role that the American Companies has been able to successfully build out over the last 100 years.  One way the website was used to highlight this role, was by drawing attention to their Logistics Tool platform – a customized platform that has multiple reporting and tracking capabilities.  By incorporating and highlighting this platform on their website, The American Companies is able to clearly demonstrate their ability to offer an entire suite of logistics solutions.
