Rocket Droid Pc - The worlds fastest Android HDMI TV Dongle aiming to raise £75,000 via Indiegogo

LAMBETH, U.K. - Sept. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- When the creators of the Rocket Droid Pc (http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/rocket-droid-pc-the-worlds-most-powerful-android-hdmi-tv-dongle/x/3023808) (or the R-Droid as it is affectionately called ) decided to design and build the worlds fastest most powerful Android HDMI TV Dongle,  they knew that it would be no easy task. Creating an Android Dongle that was faster and more powerful than anything else available on the market today was going to take much more than just an investment of time, it would  also require the advice and input of experts from all over the world.

Mark smith co-founder of Rocket Goods LTD (http://www.rocketgoods.com) ( the tech company behind the Rocked Droid Pc ) says, "  We set out to make the Rocket Droid not only look great ( hence why it is shaped to reassemble a Rocket), but we also wanted it to function l like a rocket too. We had the upper hand in that we knew exactly where all the other Android dongles we're lacking. The most obvious area for improvement was the devices speed. Other dongles would slow down greatly - especially when users tried to multitask. All we then had to do was to create the Rocket Droid with a view to overcoming the flaws of competitors dongles. The Rocket Droid Pc has made it through the design and prototyping phases and has a fully working prototype. The next step would be to go into mass production. Rocket Goods decided to opt for popular crowdfunding platform Indiegogo - and have launched a campaign that they hope will  allow them to bypass traditional banks and lending institutions, allowing them to put the Rocket Droid Pc into mass production.

When asked why they decided to use crowdfunding (http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/rocket-droid-pc-the-wor...) as a means to funding the Rocket Droid, Mark Smith replied: " Crowdfunding platforms are currently the in thing. They are also a great way of cutting out the red tape and a inevitable requirement to jump through hoops that goes along with banks and even investors. The great thing about crowdfunding platforms is that If the crowd like your product or idea, then they will fund it's creation or production - it's that simple. As an innovative technology company, we love the new options and possibilities that the crowdfunding platforms give us. We now have the opportunity to show our product directly to the end user and almost instantly get their feedback and suggestions for improvements - maybe even how we can enhance later models - this is absolutely priceless. I just can not see us turning to traditional funding avenues as long as the internet is still around".

The Rocket Droid Pc will feature as standard an industry leading Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as it's OS. It will have a 2.0 GHZ processor If the £75,000 funding goal it reached, that will be upgraded to a Quad Core processor for all of their campaign backers - which will pack some serious punch!

The Rocket Droid will also feature 1.5 - 2 GHZ of DDR3 RAM & 8 GB internal storage( Up to 32GB Max Capacity Via Micro SD Card).

Final specifications of the Rocket Droid Pc will be parallel to the total amount of funds raised via their Indiegogo campaign.

Rocket Goods also intend to produce other Technology based products in the future - making the R-Droid the first of many cool products from the company.

The Rocket Droid will be made available in several different colour options right from its initial production phase.
