By: crowdfuture The conference has five parallel thematic tracks, each dedicated to a contemporary and innovative aspect of crowdfunding: Among the track curators and confirmed speakers are Oliver Gajda, president of the European Crowdfunding Network, Kristof de Buysere, expert on European regulation of crowdfunding, and Umberto Piattelli of Osborne & Clarke, who will focus their attention on the regulation of crowdfunding at a European level and on the legislation just come into force in Italy with the implementation of the Growth Decree. The legal aspects related to it and the Italian legislative situation will be thoroughly examined also in the track curated by Gian Domenico Mosco, professor of Commercial Law at the LUISS Guido Carli. One of the tracks, curated by Alessio Barollo and Tim Wright of twintangibles, will be dedicated to the fascinating phenomenon of Civic Crowdfunding, the crowdfunding for public works. Among the speakers, Angelo Rindone, founder of the first Italian crowdfunding platform “Produzioni dal Basso”, and the blogger and designer Francesco Cingolani . Furthermore, Leo Sorge will take care of the track on Gamification, showing its application in crowdfunding campaigns. In addition we will have a contribution from Claudio Bedino of Starteed . Alessio Biancalana and Carlo Frinolli are organizing the track on Open Source, which will address the dichotomy between commissioned software development and software development for the community. A few days ago, one of the keynote speakers of Crowdfuture 2013 was confirmed: the British equity-based crowdfunding platform Crowdcube which has funded over 12 million pounds, will speak at the convention. The convention will also be the occasion to present the updated version of the Report on Italian Crowdfunding by Ivana Pais and Daniela Castrataro, representatives of the Italian Crowdfunding Network, an independent non-profit association that strives to support the development of crowdfunding in Italy. In the afternoon, there will be some seminars and workshops: confirmed so far a workshop focused on donation- based crowdfunding with RetedelDono and Mission Continuity, and a full-immersion into Italian local crowdfunding, thanks to the contribute of three national platforms (Ginger , Finanziami Il tuo Futuro and Kendoo ) .
