ORLANDO, Fla. - Sept. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- It is a well-known fact that many performing arts organization struggle with funding and need to stretch every dollar to cover their expenses, especially in times where new government regulations and private sector troubles are subject of almost daily conversations around the board room.

Ticketing has been a hot topic in the minds of many non-profit performing arts groups as seemingly there were two choices, either very expensive (and expensive to operate) ticketing systems that had the features and flexibility a performing group needs, or one that is cheaper but lacks it.

Today, there is a third option and that is called myboxoffice.us. It is a fully featured box office solution, with all the bells and whistles without a price tag. That’s right, the Central Florida company has partnered up with the worldwide ticketing giant InterTicket, Kft of Hungary to bring it to the United States and they provide their services completely free of charge for any non-profit performing arts organization.

The InterTicket system has been in use throughout Europe, China, South America and even Australia, however it never really made a presence in the United States, except for a few venues who were using it as part of a beta test like the Central Florida Ballet, World Ballet Competition, The Kings Center, Boca Ballet and a few other. But don’t get the wrong impression, this system is mature and offers some of the most advanced features in the industry.

Some of its included features could even be considered revolutionary for the US, and could possibly have a huge impact on how non-profits distribute their tickets. Take the ticket consignment and real-time reseller functionality as an example. Theaters can now partner up with anyone from local bistro’s to coffee shops to sell their tickets. They can even assign and track tickets to volunteers to be sold in their respective communities.

Of course, all the main stream features are also included like: print-at-home ticket, gift cards, “point-n-click” seat selection, website integration, season tickets, order fulfillment, donations, you name it and much more.
