Follow on Google News | Halloween in Miniature! - Made in the USABear, Lobster and Starfish, Oh My! Introducing New Wee Forest Folk for Halloween.
Donna Petersen sculpted four of the new Halloween miniatures. Spooky Speeder is a witch in her costume and cape zooming off on a bright orange motorcycle with her goggle-wearing cat riding in the sidecar! So funny! The others include a mouse dressed as a bear, another in a lobster costume and one dressed as a starfish. A 3-part accessory of a rustic fence brings all the figurines together for a nice Halloween display. Four of the miniatures are extremely limited and only available until October 31, 2013. Itty Bitty Pumpkin is a tiny mouse popping out of a pumpkin and is less than 1 inch in height. The little mouse is hand painted in either pink or blue. There's also a wee mouse admiring her pumpkin that has won 1st prize, another one called Wicked Pretty is trying on her witch hat in the mirror and lastly, a princess playing with her toy unicorns. Pumpkin Junction is a much larger piece than the others, clearly a piece de resistance! It is very elaborate and embellished with many intricate hand painted designs. It shows a train with its engineer and conductor arriving at the station. There's a witch selling candy, a little one on the roof and another on the porch along with many more details to see. This sculpture is for the ultimate and serious Halloween collector. It is limited by number, signed by the artists, Willy and Donna and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Pictures of all the miniatures can be seen online at weeforestfolk.com (http://www.weeforestfolk.com), facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ End
