HospitalPortal.net and Client MaineHealth to Present Case Study at Healthcare Internet Conference

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. - Sept. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- HospitalPortal.net is delighted to announce that for the second year in a row, they will be co-presenting a Case Study session with a client at Greystone.Net’s  Annual Healthcare Internet Conference.  The conference will take place in New Orleans on November 5, 2013.  This year marks the 17^th Annual Healthcare Internet Conference; the conference theme this year is “The Expanding Digital Footprint.”

Brooks Betts, Regional CIO for MaineHealth will serve as the featured speaker for the session while Chris Heinl, Director of Client Services for HospitalPortal.net will co-present.  PenBay and Lincoln County Healthcare’s hospitals, as part of the growing MaineHealth network, realized several years ago that their legacy intranet could benefit from user-friendly content management among other things.  In this presentation, attendees will learn how the conducted a thorough strategy evaluation and redeveloped a new intranet that engages staff, provides real-time updates on projects from the EMR to ICD-10, and incorporates social features.
