The Goldsmith Group is pleased to announce that The Lego Group has been inducted into their business hall of fame for his innovative leadership in the toy industry. Their brick toys has been named the toy of the century by Fortune magazine and The British Association of Retail Toys.  The company keeps finding new and exciting ways for people of all ages to use its products.  A rather feat considering the toy industry has gone high tech with its new computerized games.

A study by Eric Clark found of the leading toy companies in 1976 by 1995, 11 were defunct and more then 13 others had been acquired by Mattel or Hasbro.  These companies include, Fisher-Price, Playskool, Tonka, Parker Brothers, Kenner, Tinker Toys and Milton Bradley to name a few.  The Lego Group has stood the test of time in the toy industry and still remains in family hands.  Today, they are the fifth largest toy company in the world.  What as made a Lego a leader in its industry is their willingness to take risks and ability to keep reinventing the many uses its brick toys has to offer.
