Breast Friends Forever (http://www.the3day.org/site/TR/2013/DallasFortWorthEvent2013?team_id=219480&pg=team&fr_id=1831) team, a portion of sales from all three locations (http://normascafe.com/locations/) will be donated to support the team’s goal to raise $11,500 for the 3-Day, with an order of biscuits and gravy on Thursday, Sept. 26.

“We are proud to host this important event for the fourth year in a row at all of our locations and  encourage our loyal guests to help raise money for a great cause,” said Ed Murph, owner of Norma’s Cafe. “Giving back to the local community has always been important to me and the Norma’s Cafe team, and we look forward to this event each year to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure.”

Two out of the eight team members on the “Breast Friends Forever” team are breast cancer survivors themselves. Norma’s Cafe staff and Breast Friends Forever team members will be dressed in pink to support the cause and the restaurant’s mission to give back to the community.

“Our goal is to raise $2,300 per team member, and we are already half way there,” said Kalisa Barkely, team member on ‘Breast Friends Forever.’ “Norma’s Cafe is a community-oriented restaurant. When we were brainstorming ways to raise funds, it was an easy decision to reach out to them.”
