Attorney Christopher Jones of Acclaim Legal Services Receives Distinction from Super Lawyers

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Sept. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Attorney Christopher Jones has been selected to the 2013 Michigan Rising Star list.  Each year, no more than 2.5% of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.

Christopher W. Jones has specialized in representing debtors in Chapter 7, Chapter 13 (http://acclaimlegalservices.com/services/chapter-13-bankruptcy-and-improving-credit/) consumer bankruptcy cases and non-bankruptcy debt settlement since 2005 when he joined Acclaim Legal Services. He is now the Managing Attorney for the firm and also administers Chapter 13 court dockets in front of two Detroit bankruptcy court judges.  As member of the Federal Bar and State Bar of Michigan, Mr. Jones is admitted to practice in the courts of the state of Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Attorney Jones is a Board Certified Bankruptcy Specialist and is actively involved in the bankruptcy community by serving on Judges’ advisory panels and frequently speaking for the American Bankruptcy Institute, Consumer Bankruptcy Association and Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE).  He graduated from the Ave Maria School of Law, where he served as a member of the editorial board in the position of executive articles editor for the "Ave Maria Law Review."
