TMG The Mortgage Group founders to be inducted into the Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame

TORONTO - Sept. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- TMG The Mortgage Group is excited to announce that its founders Grant and Debbie Thomas will be inducted into the Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame on November 24^th, 2013.

The Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame was created to recognize and honour mortgage industry leaders whose achievements and service have contributed to the success of the Canadian mortgage industry. Inductees to the Mortgage Hall of Fame have provided leadership, vision and inspiration in their profession and strive to make a difference to enhance industry standards.

Grant and Debbie’s commitment to the mortgage industry is unparalleled. For twenty-five years they have been involved in the mortgage industry when they purchased four Equity Centre franchises in Vancouver, Surrey, Victoria and Kelowna.  Out of that grew TMG The Mortgage Group, now a national brokerage with nearly 800 brokers and agents across Canada.

Both Grant and Debbie are committed to the mortgage industry and are dedicated to the ideals of ongoing training and education as well as increasing professionalism among brokers, agents and the industry as a whole. Many TMG alumni have gone on to become the industry’s stars and thought leaders.

Not only are Grant and Debbie committed to the success of TMG, they have shown passion and dedication for the success of others and the industry at large.  As part of a very influential Western core group of broker advocates in the early 1990s, they were instrumental in ensuring that Western brokers were properly recognized.
