Singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Martin Luther is a rockstar in the rock and R&B world. From gospel, rock, and R&B to acting in the 2008 Oscar nominated movie Across The Universe--he has done it all and can't be pigeonholed into one genre or another. He is a poet and musician that is known for his jazzy, soulful lyrics that meld his heartfelt passions with the electric twang of the guitar he's strumming. Or as one fan said "It's music from the heart that hits you in your soul and you can feel it in your bones."
A well-known and revered musician Martin has been a mainstay on the Rock and R&B circuit these past 15 years. While working on his craft he has released three albums, his first solo album The Calling in 1999, followed by his second album Rebel Soul Music in 2004, and his third album Extra Terrestrial in 2012. He is currently working on a fourth album Love Is The Hero that's set to release late October 2013.
Martin Luther has performed in concert with such musicians as The Roots, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Kid Rock, Jill Scot, Eric Benet, Mos Def, 311, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Dave Matthews. He has been featured at the top Rock and R&B clubs and festivals, such as Rebel Soul Music Fest, and has performed on the OkayPlayer 2004 tour, as well as the NAACP Image Awards.
